CSEM and Meteotest release open data to foster smart energy solutions

CSEM and weather-science company Meteotest are making available to researchers a unique dataset on global irradiation and sky conditions in Switzerland. The data were collected for one year using cameras and pyranometers installed in Alpnach, Bern and Neuchâtel. Scientists are now invited to develop their own artificial intelligence algorithms, to predict solar radiation, and potentially optimize solar-power generation systems.
