20 years of "Les Tournesols" daycare at CSEM: A joyful celebration of community and family

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023, "Les Tournesols - Sunflowers" daycare in Neuchâtel celebrated its 20th anniversary

In 2003, CSEM distinguished itself by being the first private company in the Canton of Neuchâtel to open a daycare facility for its staff. Today, this heartwarming initiative has evolved to embrace the wider community. Jeronima Huguenin, who has been a steadfast part of the daycare since its inception, shared her reflections:

"CSEM had already set itself apart as a trailblazer in family-friendly polices when it opened “Les Tournesols” daycare in 2003. Today, the company proudly holds the ‘equal salary’ label, a testament to its unwavering commitment to gender equality.”

Since its establishment “Les Tournesols” has enabled over 50 families to balance their professional careers and family life by provided providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.
