Facing the challenges of our time

Help us grow and be more impactful!

We are looking for a passionate person who wants to co-develop products for biotech and life science applications.

The commercialisation of biological therapeutics and drug screening assays based on engineered cells and tissues holds tremendous potential for transforming drug production and diseases treatments. To facilitate and optimise the organoid treatment, real-time, reagent-free and contactless bio-analyte concentration monitoring, such as glucose, is required to ensure product quality and to improve the efficiency and reliability of biomanufacturing operations.

At CSEM, our team of engineers is developing a spectroscopic monitoring platform capable of real-time bioanalyte detection in cell culture bioreactors and organ‑on‑a‑chip devices. The system has been designed, developed, and evaluated with commercialization potential in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries.

We are offering two internship positions focussing either on optical system engineering and validation or signal processing and data analysis.

Each internship is planned to last between 4 to 6 months The internship can start from April / May 2026.
