R&D Engineer Image Sensor IC Designer / Analog Designer (F/M/D) 100%
Facing the challenges of our time
Help us grow and be more impactful!
The applied research and industrial activities conducted within the Edge AI and Vision section of CSEM are devoted to capture process and extract visual information from scenes. Our activity spreads from the development of complete system solution and innovative ASIC for acquiring and pre-processing images to the high-level algorithmic processing for extracting the captured information. We are seeking an R&D engineer to work on a cutting-edge R&D research project that pushes the forefront of technology in exotic image sensor detectors outside the visible spectrum.
Your mission
You will contribute to our effort in research and development of exotic image sensors.
Your responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance pixel front-end circuits and readout architectures for CMOS image sensors.
- Optimize pixel performance in terms of noise, sensitivity, dark current, and dynamic range.
- Analyze pixel and analog front-end performance using both simulation and silicon validation.
- Interact with companies/universities developing exotic materials, such as perovskite, quantum dots, organic photodiodes.
- Develop and implement innovative design approaches to improve image quality, noise reduction, and power efficiency.
- Collaborate with pixel design, process, and product engineering teams to meet performance and manufacturing goals.
- Participate actively in the technology roadmap and interact with other experts.
- Support and/or lead on multiple proposal writing, effort estimation, and scope definition.
- Engage directly with customers, building strong industry relationships to enhance our project reach.
