The Emerging Micro & Nano-Technologies Group is part of our Micro & Nano Systems Business Unit is based in Neuchâtel.

Your Mission

  • You will contribute to multidisciplinary industrial and research projects, develop innovative solutions and participate in the R&D efforts in the field of MEMS and quantum technologies.
  • You will be in charge of designing and testing MEMS components, with a specific emphasis on their electronic behavior.
  • You will take part in the development of quantum technologies via the modeling of circuit quantum electrodynamics in superconducting devices as well as via the modeling of PICs.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage public or low complexity industrial projects and contribute to various projects (management of specific work packages, technical execution, offer writing, etc)
  • Be involved in multidisciplinary activities related to quantum and photonic technologies.
  • Contribute to projects acquisition
  • Maintain and develop good relationships with our partners and participate in customers meetings
  • Proactively propose innovative solutions to enhance operations in the activity and solve complex problems
  • Continuously keep aware of the state of the art
  • Maintain and develop internal and external professional network

 

Your Profile

Know-how

  • Master's degree of PHD in Electrical engineering.
  • >10 years of experience in the field.
  • Deep understanding of semiconductor physic and electronic circuits and with a proven track record in MEMS developments.
  • Additional experience in electromagnetic and/or optical modelling of quantum devices such as superconducting and photonic circuits, ideally.
  • Mastering modeling software such as COMSOL Multiphysics.
