The “Additive Manufacturing & Component Reliability” group, based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland is seeking an experienced Project Manager.
Your mission
As a Project Manager, your mission will be to acquire and manage projects focused on the implementation of innovative additive manufacturing solutions and reliability methodology. You will play a crucial role in identifying and securing new project opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and developing proposals that align with their needs. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and industrial partners to drive projects from conception to completion, leveraging your expertise to optimize workflows and deliver impactful solutions. Your role will be pivotal in advancing CSEM's mission to foster technological innovation and support the growth of Swiss industry.
Your responsibilities
- Project Acquisition: Identify new collaboration opportunities and build relationships with potential clients.
- Project Preparation: Write and develop proposals that align with client needs and project goals.
- Project Management: Lead the planning, implementation, and tracking of projects in additive manufacturing and reliability assessment.
- Coordination and Risk Management: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of project tasks, while mitigating potential risks in the project lifecycle.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present reports on project progress, problems, solutions, and project completion.
Your profile
Know-how
- Educational Background: MSc or PhD degree in Material’s Science and Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Technical and Market Knowledge: Extensive experience in project acquisition and project management. Proficiency in project management tools. Knowledge of additive manufacturing technologies, reliability assessment and materials characterization, its markets and networks. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in both oral and written communications in English, French and German.
