Workshop on Security and Privacy of Wearable Devices
A growing number of wearable devices are becoming available. By their ability to measure physical activity and physiological characteristics such as heart rate, blood pressure, sleep patterns, etc., they constitute a cornerstone for the quantified self and personalized health. Yet, unavoidably, they bring a number of challenges in terms of security and privacy.

In this friendly and informal workshop, we intend to bring together researchers and practitioners interested in ways to reinforce security and privacy in wearable devices. One of the main goals is to provide a landscape about who is doing what in this field in our neighborhood.

This workshop is organized by EPFL, the Center for Digital Trust, UNIL, and CSEM.

This event will take place at the EPFL, BC building, room BC410, Lausanne (access map).

This event will be held in English.
