Your mission

You will coordinate corporate marketing and business development activities in space and aeronautics, optimize and increase the participation of CSEM in related projects and act as main contact point for Swiss & European Space & Aeronautics communities.

Your responsibilities

  • Act as main CSEM representatives towards ESA, SSO, EARTO, EREA, and other Swiss Associations for space and Aeronautics
  • Attend Space and Aeronautics events and expositions
  • Identify new market potential especially in Space and Aeronautics for CSEM technologies
  • Establish new industrial leads and regularly update the CRM database
  • Support to build consortium, coordinate project proposals preparation if needed and check eligibility conditions for Space and Aeronautics funding instruments
  • Raise awareness of ESA-funded opportunities and support internal teams to access them
  • Undertake lobbying activities at ESA to create funding opportunities
  • Manage ESA-Star portal and CSEM registration
  • Actively participate to ESA’ Technology harmonization group and position CSEM’ strategic topics
  • Coordinate aeronautics activities within CSEM
  • Position CSEM in Horizon Europe actions through our partner’ networks (EARTO, EREA) in order to develop calls for proposals aligned with CSEM technologies
  • Keep/build-up Strategic alliances with European peers
  • Actively coordinate communication activities in Space and Aeronautics

Your profile

Know-how

  • Master or PhD in engineering or technology field
  • Knowledge of the Space and/or Aeronautics market and of related technologies
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Fluency in French and English; German is a plus

Interpersonal skills

  • Experience in working with people of diverse culture, background, and languages
  • At least 2 years’ experience in managing ESA projects or proposals submission
  • Mastering of complex ESA projects process
  • Knowledge of EU projects and funding programs
  • Mastering social media channels and digital communication tools
