Our “Electronics” group within our “Systems” division, based in Neuchâtel, Switzerland is looking for a Manager for Medical Electronics

Place of work will be mostly Bern and occasionally Neuchâtel.

 Your mission

Your mission will be to maintain and develop our Digital Health project portfolio (including Project Acquisition) and support the Digital Health research roadmap.

 

Your responsibilities

• Acquisition of industrial projects and application of research projects
• Idea/concept generation for tomorrow’s Digital Health technologies based on identification/anticipation of future customer/societal needs
• System design, device architecture
• Coaching and management of Engineers
• Development of network
• Management of multidisciplinary medical projects
• Documentation of your work on a regular basis

 Track record in projects acquisition, projects management, and relevant innovation (patents and scientific publications) is key.

 

Your profile

Know-how

• You are a motivated ETH/EPF Engineer in Electronics or equivalent (MSc or PhD) and have at least 5 years of practical experience in low-power electronics development
• at least 5 years in the management of multidisciplinary projects with a track record in project acquisition and medical electronics.
• Customer and results-oriented you are a good team leader with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
• Fluent in English and German (spoken and written), French being a plus.

 Interpersonal skills

• Curious, proactive, extrovert, and are considered as a good team-player and a creative thinker
• Your industrial and academic network will be a strong asset to the success of this R&D area at CSEM.
• You have very good communication and interpersonal skills allowing you to interact easily with your colleagues, our customers, and partners.
