CSEM Business Day—micro technology ... mega impact in the digital economy
This event is an opportunity to take part in high-level technological discussions, to identify the potential of promising domains—such as advanced manufacturing & Industry 4.0, IoT & wearables, PV & energy management, and digital health—and to discover CSEM’s most recent demonstrators.

Come along and find out about CSEM’s technologies and their importance for the evolution of our industrial partners within the revolution of the digital economy.

Come along and participate in World Café round tables on the emergence of exciting domains such as Industry 4.0 for SMEs, digital health, energy in the digital economy, and IoT—deployment in a real-world situation.

Venue

This third edition will take place at the Swiss Museum of Transport, Lidostrasse 5, 6006 Lucerne.

Date & time

Welcome of particpants from 9:00 on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

Conference starts at 9:30 and ends at 17:00. The day will close with a networking aperitif.  

Keynote speakers

  • Prof. Dr. Kostya Novoselov, winner of the 2010 Nobel Prize in Physics, University of Manchester School of Physics & Astronomy: "2D materials: from research to applications".
  • Dr. Thomas Skordas, Director, European Commission, Digital Excellence and Research Infrastructures: "Challenges for digital excellence in Europe".

Program of the day

This third CSEM Business Day will be introduced by Mario El-Khoury, CEO of CSEM SA. This will be followed by Kostya Novoselov's keynote speech and CSEM technological sessions. After a standing lunch with CSEM experts, and an exhibition of our latest technology demonstrators, we will join the second keynote speaker, Thomas Skordas, and participate in World Café round tables.
