- Exit Neuchâtel train station opposite the post office, passing the FSO/OFS tower, and follow rue du Crêt-Taconnet
- At the roundabout, go straight on (along rue de Bellevaux) and at the next crossroads, follow rue Jaquet-Droz
- CSEM's main entrance is located on the corner of rue Jaquet-Droz and rue de la Maladière
or take public transport
- In Neuchâtel train station, go down the escalator or steps from the main hall, and take the "fun'ambule" funicular (direction Université )
- On arrival at the "fun'ambule" end-station (one stop), walk up the second set of stairs on your left, and take bus no. 1 (direction Marin)
- Get off at Bas du Mail and cross the road; CSEM's main entrance is front of you
By car
- On highway A5/N5, follow direction Neuchâtel and take highway exit no. 13 (Neuchâtel Maladière)
- At the roundabout, follow direction Neuchâtel and Gare CFF
- At the next roundabout, take the first exit on your right (direction Gare CFF)
- At the next roundabout, turn right into rue de la Maladière and then left into rue Jaquet-Droz, you can now see CSEM on your left (corner Maladière/Jaquet-Droz).
Limited visitor parking places are available on the left side of rue Jaquet-Droz.
By air
From Zurich Kloten International Airport - about 2 hours
- Take the InterCity train to Neuchâtel, either with the direct connection or with one change in Biel/Bienne (about 1 hour 50 minutes' ride)
- Then follow the by train instructions or take a taxi
From Geneva International Airport - about 1 hour30 minutes
- Take the InterCity train to Neuchatel (about 1 hour 20 minutes' ride)
- Then follow the by train instructions or take a taxi
From EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg - about 2 hours 15 minutes
- Take the bus line no. 50 to Basel SBB
- At Basel main station, take the InterCity train to Neuchatel (about 1 hour and 30 minutes' ride)
- Then follow the by train instructions or take a taxi
